Blogmas, Day 16: Feast of Winter Veil 2020

Pepe is located on top of the cart in Ironforge (or Orgrimmar).

Feast of Winter Veil has officially arrived in WoW. From 12/16/2020-01/02/2020, take part in festivities, decorate your garrison, dress up, and indulge in Winter Veil’s finest treats. This year I’m incredibly excited because Pepe’s Greatfather Winter costume is available! Now, when you summon him, he could be dressed up as Greatfather Winter, complete with a miniature mustache/beard and present. If you would like more in-depth information, check out Wowhead’s guide here.

This post is a bit late because I was too busy doing the quests in Ironforge and my garrison. I have yet to obtain the Winter Veil yeti mount (Minion of Grumpus), so I did the daily quests for the Merry Supplies to trade in. Hopefully it will drop from the Savage Gift. I also want to get the decor for my garrison, even though I don’t spend much time there these days. It will take 6-7 days to get enough Merry Supplies for all of decorations, and then I can use the rest on Savage Gifts. If you have alts with a garrison at level three, you get even more Merry Supplies and send them to whichever toon you’d like as they are BOA. You can head on over to your mission table, in Boralus Harbor or Port of Zandalar, to send followers on the special even mission. You will obtain a Stolen Present as a reward. Stolen Presents can contain food, toys, and other goodies from previous years.

I hope you head on over to enjoy all of the Winter Veil festivities, food, and drink! It’s especially nice to be able to escape a little bit into a world where the holidays haven’t changed. Be sure to check out all of the lights and decorations that are up just for the event. You can also grab the Globe Yeti battle pet in the giant snow globe, in either Orgrimmar or Ironforge, depending on which faction you are a part of.

Visit Greatfather Winter on Christmas to open your gifts.

Side note: Greatfather Winter is a bit burry because someone decided to place their Brewfest Showdown Trophy, which made everyone tipsy. Whether you are celebrating Winter Veil in Orgrimmar or Ironforge, you’ll have a good time. There is plenty to see and do. Check off any incomplete achievements, change into a Little Helper, and (most importantly) have fun! This week I will have a post up in the voice of my little gnome. Hopefully you enjoy Winter Veil through her eyes.

Peace & Love, always!
