Part 1: 10 Things I No Longer Buy (usually)

Happy May! As I’ve mentioned numerous times since the pandemic locked us in a bit over a year ago, I have made several purchases that I wouldn’t make under “normal” circumstances. That being said, there are still items that I no longer buy. Why? Sustainability aside, these are items I don’t find value in having. If you do, that’s okay. There is no judgment here. You’ll also noticed it abundance of the word I in this post. That’s because, while I’m low-waste, my fiancé is not. I won’t force my lifestyle on someone else, and simply choose to “live and let live”.

Cash Back with ibotta

I don’t normally hype up cash back programs because they simply haven’t worked for me.  I used eBates and never received the cash back.  Then, I signed up for ibotta, and it actually worked.  There are a few things to note:  (1)  It takes a little bit of work, but it’s worth it (especially if you need some extra cash), (2)  You have to have at least $20.00 to withdraw funds.  Withdrawals can be in the form of vemno, PayPal, or a gift card!  You can always save up your earnings to make a bigger withdrawal.  FAQ.
