Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! We hope you had a nice, safe weekend. Here is a bit of what has been going on since the new year started and the direction for 2022.
Continue ReadingIt is 2021! The past year was tumultuous to say the least. While I don’t usually make resolutions, 2020 had me realize that I want to make a few changes. First, I’m going to paint this weekend. I’ve been saying that for the last 8 months, and really need to just do it. Even though we don’t need a new year for a fresh start, it’ll be nice to kick off the new year with a new look. Here is a look at some of the transitions and adjustments I’ll make going into 2021:
Continue ReadingSo, 2020 has been a hell of a year, eh? The beginning of the year held so much promise, which quickly turned into living in some sort of a horror film. I always knew that there would be something major to happen in my lifetime. History has shown some interesting patterns. To be honest, out of the two, I figured it would be war, not a pandemic, that I’d see. I initially thought it would be interesting to document my experiences, but I really didn’t want it to be a focus on here. There is enough being discussed on the news and in other blogs/vlogs. I wanted this to be a space where you could get away from all of that, even if it was just for a minute.
Continue ReadingNot gonna lie, I’m kinda tickled that it’s 2020. Anyway, I don’t like resolutions because they hardly ever stick, which I’ve mentioned before. I prefer life-changes, or lifestyle changes, because those tend to stay around longer. This year, I’ll be experimenting with more low-waste living and buying less junk (food). I’m also focused on spending less, in general, so we can save up for a trip. This year is our 10-year (dating) anniversary. We’re hoping to do something awesome, so *fingers crossed*. I’m also doing my best to appreciate each day because life is no guarantee. On a similar note, I’m also going to try and let the people in my life know they are appreciated…unless they’re not; if that’s the case, then they probably already know.

We are back at CES, and this time it’s (supposedly) bigger than ever, with even more drones & 3D printing areas. Not that we really need more, but why not? I am looking forward to seeing everything that will be coming out in the next year. Over the week, I will try to post updates on what we experience. I am especially looking forward to seeing what new products Razer and iHealth will be producing over the course of the next year or so. Virtual Reality (VR) is another thing I am quite excited for, and not just for the gaming aspect. With VR, you can be just about any place at any time. Last year, we were chased by a T-Rex, we attacked a giant robot destroying the city, and watched two cute cranes play ball. Oh, the future…
Stay beautiful!
