In about two and a half weeks the Valley will be host to Eggstravaganza! From April 1-21, eggs will appear in your Valley and Realms, plus there is a new green egg to fish up! WALL-E will have daily and weekly quests that you can complete for event materials. If this is your first Eggstravaganza, I recommend setting a large chest or two aside to store the event eggs. And, don’t miss a spawn with the Ancient Vacuum (you’ll need a Level 3 vacuum to pick up the eggs), that is available to craft with the A Rift in Time expansion.
Continue ReadingSpring has arrived in Disney Dreamlight Valley! From March 11-17, there is the Lucky You! event, where you will find three-leaf (and one four-leaf) clovers throughout your Valley. Gather them to craft decorative items, and get the Lucky Shirt for completing the Lucky You! achievement. There are two new lucky-themed items to craft: Luck Clover Archway and Lucky Shamrock Banner. Then, from April 1-21, put on your bunny ears and get ready for an egg hunt because Eggstravaganza will be back, but more on that when it starts. If you don’t want to miss out on collecting the clovers (and eggs when that event is up), I highly recommend getting the A Rift in Time expansion and crafting Ancient Vacuums. Please note that you’ll need a Level 3 vacuum to pick up the clovers.

While the frame is cute, it takes up a ton of space no matter what view your photo is in. The motif, a plate of spaghetti and meatballs, is also included when you redeem the code. Now, through April 23rd, head over to Disney California Adventure to celebrate the food and drink options inspired by the flavors of California! We headed there today to sample some of their goodies. The Sip and Savor Pass($54/regular, $49/AP price) provides 8 coupons that can be redeemed at the Marketplace (15 themed kiosks) and various food/beverage carts. Two of the kiosks are off the beaten path. One by the restrooms/Ariel’s Undersea Adventure by Grizzly River Run, and the other is in Hollywood Land near Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sully to the Rescue!. Depending on what you want to try, the pass can be the most economical option, as most items are $6 and up. The coupons can be redeemed for most things, excluding alcoholic drinks. Paradise Garden Grill is also offering smaller versions of four their specialty items, which are also coupon friendly. While you are there, be sure to pick up a food guide. Each guide provides a checklist-style menu so you can keep track of everything you sample. There are also sections for notes, just in case you want to buy a second helping, or want notes from one of the culinary seminars.

We only have two days left! Well, one and the morning of another. The time flew by, but at the same time didn’t. It’s so hard to explain. We woke up and got ready for our final visit to Palo. I almost think it’s worth it to eat every dinner (and brunch) during the duration of the cruise. We had Samet as our server again, and he gave us a tour of the buffet and menu. Continue reading
