FabFitFun: Fall 2017

The un-boxing.

I received this quarter’s FabFitFun box just before we left, and was so excited!  It’s a bit like Christmas (well, the consumer part of it), but quarterly.  I love hats, plus I needed a new gym bag, so this box already came with two things I was looking forward to.   Since I ended up upgrading (the only “upgrade” is being able to pick certain products and/or colors) I was able to pick most of what was in the box. Tech Tuesday: About Life n Soul

During CES, we came upon the Life n Soul booth.  They have earbuds, headphones, speakers, and so much more.  They also make the KiiTAG 2, and you can read more about that here.  If you haven’t yet, definitely check out their products because they are well worth it.  Below is more about the company, and I can’t thank Ronny & Beth enough for their time.

1. Where and in what year was your business established?  Who founded your business?
Ronny Tsai founded Life n Soul in 2013 in Irvine, CA.
2. Who is your target consumer base?
Our products are part of the Bluetooth audio and gadget and our target consumer base is comprised of young adults and technology-savvy individuals.
3. In one word, how would you describe your current customers?
Cutting-edge
4. Please describe the process behind the establishment of your business (i.e. How the concept came about, the mission/purpose of your business, etc.).
A few years ago I noticed a huge gap in the industry for quality Bluetooth audio products. The market was premature so with my background in the audio space, I started my own company – Life n Soul – to fill that void. Our main goal is to develop great products relying on Bluetooth technology.
5. How would you describe the relationship amongst your staff (i.e. family-oriented, strictly business, etc.)?
Our team environment at Life n Soul is very family-oriented. I’ve never wanted to work at or own a company that focuses strictly on the business. When hiring new employees, I spend a lot of time learning about their personalities and what they are looking for in their next position.
An important aspect of our company is our openness. I am a strong believer in learning from one’s mistakes and I always like to see our team recover if they make a mistake. I view our company dynamic as a marathon, not a short race. We all put in the work to grow as a team and a company.
6. In one word, how would you describe your staff?
Hardworking
7. Where can potential customers find and purchase your products?
Customers can purchase our products online at LifenSoul.com, Amazon.com, BestBuy.com, and Walmart.com.
8. Is there anything you want your customers to know about your business that they may not?
At Life n Soul we’re always improving upon our products and for us, we highly value customer feedback. We want customers to know the importance of their feedback to us. We create our products based on people’s reactions and we put that extra effort in to ensure we are developing products that our customers want.

Fashion Friday: Oh Kale Yeah!

I saw Bad Pickle Tees at a craft fair and purchased a couple of tanks and a tote.  They print on my favorite tanks, by American Apparel, and carry other t-shirts, totes, and kids apparel at reasonable prices.

I bought Oh Kale Yeah! in gray, and the soba tank in a royal blue:

They are so comfortable!  It’s like when you find the perfect shirt; you always want to wear it.  The other great thing is the sizing.  I can wear anything from a small to a large in this tank.  When they are washed, they do not shrink (if they do, it’s not noticeable), and take up hardly any space if you decide to travel with one.  Tanks can also be layered, so keep that in mind when choosing a size.

I also bought this tote (Dimensions:  14 1/2″W x 15 1/2″H; 22″L handles):

This heavyweight canvas tote is perfect for a day at your local Farmer’s Market, the gym, or next overnight trip.  I am able to fit my Olivia + Joy wallet, MacBook Air, iPhone 6, and makeup bag, with room to spare!  Does organic matter to you?  If it does, this tote is made from 100% organic cotton and recycled fibers, just so you know.

Make a statement about the food you love, in shirt and bag form, with Bad Pickle Tees.
