To those of you who have been with me, and stuck around, I wanted to thank you. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your life, even if it’s only in a small way, and for taking the time out of your day to read my posts. This article is all about future plans in my personal life and with the blog. Also, I think I’m about ready to make my big announcement…well, it’s a big deal to me.

The past year has really had me thinking about the future. For some time now (we’re talking pre-pandemic) I’ve been less than happy. I want to keep most of my personal life private, although that’s difficult, especially in a space where others can interject. That being said, there are some things in my private life that spill over into the blog as you’ve seen, especially if you’ve been around since my first blog that morphed into this one.

Anyway, my first big announcement is that I will be opening an online shop with custom, made-to-order items. I’ll have images of examples up soon. I have also been working on some videos to upload and would love your feedback once they are posted. Some will be taste-testing, others will be more focused on low-waste living (although that’s been very difficult to maintain, especially where I live), etc. Let me know if there is a topic you would like to see. The second announcement is that, if everything pans out, we will be relocating to Japan! As much as we’d like to move now, this is not going to be immediate. We figure within the next 2-3 years. So, let’s see. Store, YouTube, moving plans…I think that’s about it. I hope you all are having a nice start to the new year despite the tumultuousness and contentiousness that has been at the forefront.
