Tomorrow is Christmas. I”m excited to see the reactions to the gifts I’ve done for those in my household. Since there is no getting together with friends and other family, we will be enjoying the holiday along with our fur babies. Things are a bit different, but that doesn’t mean we can’t look forward to the holiday. Our cats will get a few extra treats, and we will open our gifts.
To be honest, I didn’t ask for anything, so there is no expectation. Awhile back I found a small salad spinner that I’ll gift to myself. It was $2.00 for the OXO brand, and it looked like it was hardly used. We also found a brand new (everything still in the sealed packaging) hibachi, which I can’t wait to open and use. With money being a bit tight this year, I’ve shifted the focus from materialism, which is easy to get caught up in, to gifting handmade/customized gifts. I love to craft things anyway, and hope that the gifts are appreciated.

And just like that, today is Christmas! Unlike previous years, we stayed in. The holiday carried with it a weird vibe, but it was still a nice day. We started off with a breakfast spread, followed by gifts and dinner. I received some things that I wasn’t expecting at all. It’s so fun when you’re pleasantly surprised. A couple of months ago I had a likeness of myself, in the style of my main, and was surprised with her on a shirt and mug! They are adorable. There is a relatively big announcement (well, big to me) and the shirt will come into play. I also received some wonderful gifts that I can’t wait to use.
Gosh, I’ve been so tired lately. Every time I try to fall asleep, I just have the worst time of it. Not quite sure why. The year is just about over. I’m not sure how it is for you, but I’ve found that it has really flown by, even with the way things are. I hope you and yours had a wonderful Christmas, or whatever holiday you happen to celebrate, and that you are all staying safe and well.
Peace & Love, always!
