Blogmas, Days 17-23: A Long Week + Giveaway Announcement 🎁

Missing the holidays at Disneyland. Here is a photo from 2019.

I’ve been absent for awhile, and apologize for not keeping up with the days. It’s been a heck of a week. Between the endless planning, list-making, and wrapping, I’ve been keeping busy. Due to my current health issues, I’m lucky to get four hours of sleep a night. My fur babies are excited for Christmas. I was able to get them a few toys on sale, which they found (of course), and have been trying to detach them from their backing.

This year has flown by, for me anyway. Christmas is just a couple of days away! By now I would be planning out the route to visiting friends and family, but with this virus running rampant that’s not an option. I will be delivering gifts (porch drop-off) in the days following Christmas. Even though accommodations had to be made, I tried my best not to let it affect my outlook. You have to make the best of the situations you are in, difficult though it may be.

I have a small announcement. I will be hosting a giveaway to ring in the New Year. I’m still working out the details, but it will be posted on my Instagram. Be sure to follow me to find out the latest details. The giveaway will include some low-waste products that I’ve found to be useful even while at home. It will be open to US residents, 18+. You can read more about the terms and conditions here. I will also have a taste-test video up soon. It won’t be low-waste in package-free sense, but with the help of Terracycle (not sponsored), the packaging can be broken down and reused. We did were taste-testing a few things a couple of days ago, and I’m kicking myself for not remembering to record it. Anyway, such is life.

I hope you all stay safe and don’t let the conditions get you down. Things will get better with time. In a world where we are used getting things now, it can be hard to remember that this is not a movie. It will take time, and answers may change based on new information, so as frustrating as this all is, try to be patient. These uncertain, difficult times won’t last forever, even though it seems like it will.

Peace & Love, always!
