I received the FabFitFun summer 2020 box last week, and have to say that I was really disappointed. My box contained a foot & a hand cream, suncare, pillow cover, hyaluronic said serum, eyebrow pencil, cooler bag, and credits for a food subscription as well as one for wine. The overall value for this box was marked at $265.50.

The products. I should have taken the pillow sleeve out of the case for this, but didn’t.

Let’s start with what I liked in the box. I chose the towel, satin pillow case and cooler bag, all of which I love. The L*SPACE tie-dye towel ($58 value) contains much more bright pink than the FFF choice picture lead on– I should have gone to their site to see the actual item. While you all know I hate pink, I picked the towel because it’s something I will use. The ends are fringed, and the colored side has a softer feel versus the other side, which is much more rough. The Silked pillow sleeve ($29.50 value) is open at both ends, which is a bit of an odd design choice. Unlike my current satin pillowcase, this one has a rougher side to help prevent sliding, which is nice. It, like the towel, looks nothing like the image on the FFF site; however, I like the gray color. I chose the Business and Pleasure Co™ cooler bag ($59 value) because it’s something that will definitely get used. The yellow and white stripes are fun for spring/summer, even if it is just going to hold items for a backyard picnic. The size can fit enough for two people, and has the following dimensions: 12.5” L x 8.5” W x 8” H. I also love the face sunscreen by COOLA. COOLA’s mineral face organic matte finish sunscreen lotion SPF 30 ($36 value) has very mixed reviews. People either love it or hate it, depending on the site you go to. I have been using COOLA for ages, and have loved just about everything I’ve tried. While I prefer something higher than SPF 30, it works. The product does leave a matte finish on the skin, and the tan color of the product does not tint the skin. There is also no scent, which is a plus. I use it over a serum and haven’t found it to pill. Others have mentioned that it is very greasy, but I haven’t found that to be the case. It feels similar to a silicone primer, so if you’re not a fan of that, you probably won’t care for this product. I recommend trying out their SPF 50, unscented ($32) instead.

I am hoping to like the grace & stella hyaluronic acid hydrating serum ($25), but I haven’t tried it yet. Once I have used it for awhile, I’ll give an update. Another product I have yet to try is the Winky Lux uni-brow universal eyebrow pencil ($16). I’m hoping that it works well. I love blinc’s eyebrow mousse ($24) because it lasts all day and doesn’t smudge. The last two products are Cali Cosmetics foot cream with menthol ($24) in a blood orange scent and Spongellé hand cream in coconut verbena ($18). I’m not a fan of Spongellé, and won’t use the other cream. The credits are also not something I will use, so I’ve given those away. I would rather them go to someone who will use them. Typically I would donate them, but with the current state of things, most places are not accepting donations at this time. Overall, this box was not my favorite. I would love to see more sustainable companies featured, and have less skincare (with the exception of SPF). If you are interested in giving them a try, save $10 (off your first box) by clicking here*. If you received this box, let me know what you thought about it.

Peace & Love, always!
