The Month After

It has been about a month since my last update. I don’t mean for things to be so sporadic, but admittedly, I don’t write multiple posts that can be uploaded on the date/time of my choosing. Perhaps I should… Anyway, let us recap June. I continued working on my dissertation (when is that not happening?), saw a few specialists, worked on getting our channel up and running, spent some time at SeaWorld, and am planning out the rest of summer. There is quite a bit more, but that’s the gist of it.

My fiancé, Rythlok (his main’s name) and I have an online store, Goblin Gearworks, which we are in the process of changing. Sometimes change can be a good thing. We are getting rid of items and brining new stock in– including some products that we have made. We are looking forward to BlizzCon & CES (hope to see you there!), and have been “fighting the good fight” against Azshara and her minions. I have been meaning to introduce all of you to Darphynia (my main and the new name for this blog; more on that later).

We will be starting a new theme park & travel series, to help you get the most out of your visits: Food, deals, what to expect, and more. One of my favorite apps, and I only link it because I know it works, is ibotta. It’s a great way to save a little money for your next adventure. Yes, it is a bit time-consuming. For the most part, you have to manually scan items and then take pictures of your receipts. However, you can also link accounts (i.e. Sprouts, Amazon), which means that any cash back rewards you’ve chosen are automatically uploaded. It can take a couple of days to show. We’ve also used it when booking hotels, though that takes a bit longer to show in your available funds. My total in cash back, since starting in 2016, is $278.00. I’m still waiting on more funds to appear (since, as I mentioned, hotel stays take longer). And if you decide to make a return, the funds are withdrawn from your credit. If you would like to learn more, click here. Will you make a fortune? No. But, you will make a little something; and we all know that something is better than nothing!

What else can I fill you in on? I’m working on some new recipes. For the most part, they will be measureless. Why? Because taste is subjective. Unless there must be measurements, as is the case when baking, I’ll give you the foundation for you to make a dish your own. In case anyone is wondering, not all dishes will be plant-based, but many will be. We also have some taste-test videos in the works, which we hope you will enjoy.

If you have reached the end of this, thank you for sticking around! We love you all, and hope you have an amazing week. Happy 1st of July! It’s already July…. Where is the time going?

Peace & Love, always.
